Generous servings of abalone and all them Chinese goodies. The sea cucumber was not overly tough and the sauce (not salty) would've complemented with rice really well
Severely disappointed by the food at forty hands :'( the baguette from tiong bahru bakery was overly chewy and not warm/crisp at all. The taste of the filling was honestly not too bad, but overall considering the price point - nope.
The only worthy mention was the coffee I had, which was not bad but easy to find coffee of similar standards elsewhere.
The famous tau sar pau was decent, but $2.50 for it - nope either.
Ordered whatever is in the picture above. Didn't feel fresh, felt like everything was frozen before. $16 bucks in total for everything - so I guess it was still worth the money, just not too worth the calories. Heehee
I will never fail to order chirashi don whenever I eat at legit jap places. And out all of the chirashis I've had.. this bowl ranks OK. Not one of the best but not one of the worse either. Like OK...
The salted caramel ice cream was really good (& I usually never buy salted caramel flavoured stuff) and it came with chunky almond nuts nomz! Matched the blueberry cheese cake well. But I think the blueberry cheese cake alone would've tasted meh.
