This was our order of 700gms of grilled beef short rib at Garang Grill, and boy, was it sexy.
The tender meat had been marinated in a kind of dark, slightly sweet sauce before being cooked at some crazy level of heat. This gave it intense flavour, an intoxicating smokiness and juiciness that's off-the-charts. What I loved best was chewing on the tender parts found right on the bone.
The rice served alongside, was quite clumpy - kind of similar to glutinous rice actually. However, because of the way it was perked up with tiny slices of fiery chilli padi, I enjoyed it.
Do get the side dish of Asian root vegetable with "hae bee hiam" ($10++) as well. The large chunks of crunchy radish and slightly softer carrot tossed in minced up spicy dried shrimp made for tasty munching.

When one could not decided on crispy fried chicken or soupy dish. Halfway through one could add the soup to make it into an ochazuke, which is similar to Teochew style fish porridge.

I would have opted for the other pasta that had Sakura ebi and chili (for the extra umami and some spice) if not for the fact that I was dining with a friend who had turned vegetarian of late. The pasta was just a tad oily for comfort, otherwise a great example of a simple but terribly addictive dish. #venuebysebastian #burpple

The @dempseycookhousenbar.sg's black truffle and fontina cheese pizza is amazing! Probably in my humble opinion the best truffle pizza in Singapore. You can either order it as a main or share it like us. Loved every bite of it! So good.
At first I thought It was going to be like a normal Tendon experience. But it was the latter. I ordered Chicken Tendon with the Level 3 Spicy. With my choice of base was Soba. The Tempura was very crispy and light. I enjoyed it very much. The chicken was very tender.
But for the Soba, it was overcook. Soft. There is no chewyness as I slurp the soba right in ans tried to chew. Only to found out that its soft. The soup was okay. It was light and flavorful. As I sip the last liquid, I could taste the oil lingers around my tongue. A bit oily? I don't know, but overall the dish is good.
P/s : If i come back I should ordered rice instead. Oh and the Matcha Latte was quite good.

Totally revenue of the entire and serving up katsudon which was less than $15. Super tender pork and chicken with basic season and wrapped with the golden bread crust.
