The Tenshin Han is essentially omurice surrounded in a thick, slightly starchy soup and topped with chashu slices and grated carrots.
Honestly did not expect much from Osaka Ohsho in general but this dish was surprisingly good. The omelette is super fluffy and quite a thick layer and goes well with the flavourful soup/gravy (not quite sure what it is). The best part in my opinion was the soft chashu slices, as they fall apart pretty easily yet have that slight aromatic chargrilled crispiness (plus it smells great). The portion is also hearty and leaves your tummy feeling really warm š
Did not get to try the gyoza which is the signature dish though!
Tried the signature Shoyu ramen with chashu. The stock tastes slightly fishy as it includes dried sardine, so was a tad too salty for my liking. The ramen noodles are slightly thick, so do not expect the regular thinner-style ramen noodles. Chashu is super soft and falls apart easily, has a slight charred taste which pairs quite well with the noodles. The egg is also pretty well done with a slightly runny yolk. On the whole a decent filling ramen but not exactly my preferred style. The place is also pretty cramped and queues can get long so come early!
