The buffet was mostly Peranakan themed, with dishes such as kueh pai tee, laksa, curries, rojak, chendol, and dessert kuehs.

The star of this buffet is definitely its wide array of desserts, which includes various nonya Kuehs. A must try is the durian pengat dessert! They did not shy away at all from the durian in this dish, and every bite sent me to creamy d24 heaven. Not usually a fan of durian, but I’d have the pengat here any time. The food was ok, but I know of other hotels that serve up better Penang buffets with a wider spread of food. Read up on some blogs that they served Satay but I sadly didn’t see it. I also don’t usually like Asam laksa as it tends to be too fishy for me but this one had just the right balance. Rojak did not come with fried dough sticks which was a bummer.
