Normally I eat at the Paya Lebar branch. And the Kagoshima meat platter is great there. But sadly it wasn't up to standard for the Centrepoint branch. The meat just wasn't as good in terms of flavour. It tastes like normal beef rather than premium Kagoshima
I finally tried the many Cs pasta. Tbh it was quite disappointing as the sauce was too overpowering and covered all the other ingredients. The duck confit was good but I didn't like the side of kway teow instead of the usual mash potatoes. The cheese dessert with yogurt was the best dish! The unique combination felt weird yet delightful at the same time
So far I enjoyed all my meals here. Recently tried the Angelica Herbal Noodle and esp enjoyed it. I also love to order the Rendang too!
The collagen soup here is the best!! And I drink A LOT of it throughout the steamboat. If you like spicy can order the mala but not that much special to me. I like the herbal chicken soup better but I drink it only to take a break from the collagen one. The soups here have a lot of ingredients in it that you can eat too!! Like the chicken one has real chicken pieces in it while the collagen soup has tofu and mushrooms. My must orders are the beancurd skin, tioman fish and pork belly. Skip the normal pork and pork collar. Interesting to try the thick potato noodles where you can cook and then mix with your own sauces to make åē². The fruits are also good quality kind and its sweet and fresh! Expensive though and normally I eat around 50ish while ordering the cheaper cuts of meats too!
Excitedly brought my brother here because I tried this before and it was great. Somehow today the standard seems to have dropped for their beef sukiyaki. Like the quality of beef was not as good. Still a satisfying bowl and nothing to complain its price point of $14.90++
Most people recommend the Parrot Fish porridge which is nice in its own right but I didn't like the actual fish that much with bones in it. We splurged on the Alaskan crab porridge whereby the crab legs were really sweet and the porridge full of the seafood-y goodness! Also the pork liver was amazingly cooked whereby the texture was perfect and very well seasonedšš
Great chirashi bowls where all the sashimi were super premium and fresh!! It wasn't Japanese white rice but still complemented so well together. The best part was using the eatigo app to eat at non-peak hours for discount šš
Had this a while ago with the Burpple Beyond. Too bad they are closed now
Quality beef can never go wrong in yakiniku! I recommend getting the kagoshima platter to share with your beef-loving friends. The meat quality definitely beats the buffet. But if you want to stuff yourself full of meat then go for the buffet
Ordered the Fried Calamari and Zucchini (SGD15.9) and Parma Pizza (SGD27). Both were very average so the food is not worth it in my opinion. Going there for drinks during happy hour is pretty worth it though as there are 12.90 cocktails and 1 for 1 draft beers.
Many food stalls at Timbre+ but this deep dish pizza caught my attention and calories. There are a whole lot of ingredients in the Fat Samurai (SGD9) like duck confit and bacon but honestly you can't really taste the individual ingredients. As a whole, the combination is still pretty good and I think it is a decent food option at Timbre+.
Ordered the Set Menu (SGD15.90) with Onion Soup and Duck Confit! Value for money but unfortunately the food was only so-so. The skin of the Duck Confit wasn't that crispy and the meat slightly on the tough side. My friends tried the Carrot Cake and Penang Kway Teow which I tasted and both were pretty good dishes!
