Call me boring, but I just can't resist a molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream when it's on the menu. The perfect way to end a postcall lunch. Thankfull hehāŗļø
The star of this dish has to be the broth. I can't pinpoint what makes it so good but I literally drank the whole bowl up right to the very last drop. It's a perfect balance of sweet, savoury and sour š
This is a dish I wouldn't normally gravitate towards but thanks to their lunch sets, I got to try it and it was delicious. The cured prawns were fresh and unexpectedly a great match with the banana slices
8 course Omakase at this small cosy joint. Sit by the bar counter for the best view!
lobster meat, burrata and bursts of caviar with every mouthful made this my Favourite dish of the lotšÆ
No, it's not a baby Ong haha. It is actually synonymous for hanger steak which is a cut "prized for its flavour" (thanks wiki). Very tastyāļø
Perfectly toasted brioche buns with a neat layer of melted cheese sandwich the flavourful pork and lightly soured coleslaw. My favourite of the lot!
At 7$ a pop, you'd expect a lot from this. And don't worry, it doesn't disappoint. Each bite is packed with an almost umami beefy flavour that is balanced out very nicely with the pickles.
A perfect brioche bun- toasted on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, and adequately stuffed with lobster chunks (at $40 I think they could try stuffing moreš). What made it stand out was the tobiko in the sauce that popped delightfully with every bite of this moorish roll.
Well technically an aubergine is a fruit. Another winner in my books. Char grilled onions, red peppers and fresh blackberries elevated the potentially bland tasting fried eggplant.
Our first appetiser at this quirky establishment that prides itself on fresh oysters flown in from Seattle. Too bad we aren't fans of the shellfish, what a waste. This, however, was up my alley. cold and creamy burrata precariously sitting atop a small sourdough, complemented by a spicy salsa verde. Can't speak on behalf of my boyfriend though, who prefers his cheese warm!
