Life is good when I get to have brunch for dinner! We beat the queues at this highly popular hipster cafe by visiting on a Sunday evening. I enjoyed the Eggs Benedict- ham hock on toasted English muffins with hollandaise sauce. Great laid back vibes, great music and warm service @brekkyclubbtn, perfect for relaxing after a busy day!

Starting the first day of the festive season @drurylanesg on a very sweet note, with this delightful slice of Strawberry Lychee Cake. This sponge cake was light and moist, with both flavours of strawberry and lychee being distinct without overwhelming each other. This was reasonably priced at $6 nett!

Dining with a child is always not easy. Kudos to the staff who were so patient with my naughty nephew and provided excellent service to us.

Resting comfortably on top of linguine cooked in a rich and creamy sauce (with generous amounts of crab meat), the soft shell crab was fried to a golden crispness. The addition of curry leaves and chilli also complemented this dish very well.
However, it was a little too rich and heavy for me. Kudos to the wonderful service provided at the cafe, despite the busy times and shortage of manpower here!

Double trouble with my partner-in-crime @thelokalsingapore as we happily tucked into The LOKAL Lobster Roll today.
A good amount of fresh & wholesome slipper lobster tails was snuggled in between a lightly toasted hotdog bun, and served atop a yummy combination of gherkin, coleslaw & lemon mayonnaise. This was accompanied by a generous amount of curly fries that continued to remain crispy even after some time. At $22, this was really value-for-money! Highly recommended!

Happily ever after with this delightful French Confit of Duck Leg. The golden brown duck leg arrived, glazed with black truffle sauce and sitting atop a bed of mesclun. The skin was perfectly crispy.
