BKK!

Back to work today to face the never-ending piles of work and I missed BKK SO MUCH.

My favourite Ferrero Toast was not available, so I made do with their Nutella Toast (205 Baht for normal size) and chose to pair with banana! Banana and Nutella are BEST FRIENDS, even though I am never a fan of banana.
Toast remains crispy on the exterior and fluffy on the interior, and the rich amount of the butter is my weakest point.
A MUST HAVE for my every BKK trip!

Thinly strips of tagliatelle were tossed with rich truffle cream and somehow the mushroom juices will explode in your mouth.
'nuff said, truffle-licious!

Churros were too soft but who can say no to yuzu dip?! The refreshing and aromatic yuzu dip elevated the contrast of the churros coated with cinnamon sugar!
The natural lighting of this cafe is too pretty!

Best stall is the legendary man who will do it the teh tarik style, right outside the mrt station exit!
Then of course, continue to let the shiok sun burn you thereafter.

Then dip your ingredients with it and drink a sip of the sourish spicy tom yum soup!
Anyway remember that their last order is 9.10pm. We missed by 5 minutes and they kindly served us after we pleaded 😆

Remember to mix it with their chilli powder! Too bad the pork trotter was out of stock at 2pm. Shall be back again!

Signature Fried Curry Crab (550 Baht for M size) - fresh and meaty crab with their signature curry sauce.
Somboon's curry sauce is distinctively cooked with tonnes of eggs, spring onions and red peppers. The silky eggs was so comforting that I could properly finish a bowl of rice with the creamy curry sauce alone, a well-balanced flavour with sweetness and slight hint of spiciness.
The crabs were fried to crisp and you can easily bite the crabmeat off the shell! The succulent meat, together with the sauce is a tantalizing treat guaranteed to make crab lovers drool!

With over a dozen of crepe cakes to choose from such as lemon cheese, chocolate banana, cappuccino etc, I was spoilt with choices!
Layers of thin and decedent paper thin crepes were smooth and creamy, though it cannot beat the one from Audrey Café imo.
Simply love the dreamy and mesmerizing ambience, as well as people watching right across Siam BTS station.

I kid you not, the glorious and creamy foie gras sauce was an assault of richness and flavour! The unforgettable combination with truffle oil will excite your palette and leave you licking your plate.
Foie gras could be better with more salt, but the rich flavor and exquisite texture was simply irresistible!
