I finally made it to another place which was on my to-visit list. I donāt have time anymore that I have way too many of it on my list. It was one of the nicest cakes I have ever tried in a while, definitely a good place to go if ever craving for cakes. I personally loved the cheesecake.
Been wanting to try out this place for a while now since my cousin gave pretty good reviews on it. It was a little hard to find if youāre not familiar with the area. The whole stretch of road had stalls so you need to slow down once youāre on the road. To me, it was alright, nothing too extraordinary. The beef and sauce was nice, no complaints on that.
It was out for more than two weeks before I finally got a chance to try this. Funny thing is, they have it at the McDonald's right behind my house. Why and how did I end up in Shah Alam for this, I don't even know.. I have no expectations whatsoever so to me it tasted quite good. I've had it a lot of times after this first time already, so, yes š
Dragged my best friend out of her house the other day for dinner slash I just needed to get out. We ended up here, and she ordered a plate of chicken wings. She's obsessed with chicken wings, I'm telling you.
It was spicy with a bit of tanginess somewhere, it felt alright. Not too sure if we'd come back here for this, but it's alright. Not bad, then again, nothing much to shout about.
Had a random, unplanned food adventure the other day in Shah Alam because my friend and I were too hungry while waiting for dinner. We ended up here.
My friend had the oriental chicken chop, which come to think of it, now reminds me of the Hainanese chicken chop in Wondermama I had the other day š© I didn't try it, but it looked good and there wasn't any complaints so I guess, it's good.
I had spaghetti beef bolognese, because I had no idea what to order. I think it could use more sauce because I noticed I didn't get enough balance with my spaghetti. It was reasonably priced though, it was probably about RM30 for two people at most.
I would come back to try their Sany Char Kuey Teow though, to see if it's the same as the one I had in Penang. Man, I am missing Penang š¢
One of my favourite thing here at this cafe is this, their chilli con carne. It's so good! I loved the one with the mashed balls, but this was good anyway. I wanted to share with my friends, so this was appropriate. I would have gobbled up the mashed balls all by myself š
I felt smart thinking "Oh, this bread wouldn't hurt." So the bread was the first thing I ate. It looked small and it was RM13, so I didn't expect much. Man, was I wrong..
I personally don't really enjoy anything aglio olio style so I was quite bummed when I saw that my dish was just like that, and somewhat lacking something soupy. That was just my personal preference though.
There were cherry tomatoes in between, so that I enjoyed. At the end of my meal, I had a lot of leftover beef. Funny, I actually ate most of the garlic there. I hate anything garlic and onions. One thought I had while eating this was that they were totally generous with the amount of beef on this plate. It made me forget about the lack of soup in this dish š I was too full at the end of it.
This was mushroom beef burger with fries on the side as well as the salad. You could choose between tomato, black pepper and cheese for the dipping sauce. This was obviously the black pepper dipping sauce.
For RM23.90, we got that and a mushroom beef burger that had a juicy patty and beef bacon in between. I am a sucker for burgers with beef bacon so this zoomed into my favourites just like that. It looked small but it was really a challenge to finish it up. The fries were hardly touched even at the end of the meal, so that.
Funny how I was craving for chilli cheese fries the other day and I was suddenly here. Yeah, I am forever craving for something. Whether my stomach and money allows the cravings.. that's another story.
You can choose between fries and nachos so I picked fries, since I'm almost always eating nachos (thank you, Cowboys Food Truck, I'm not complaining). This was RM12 if I was not mistaken.
I forgot the exact description, but I remember it having everything cheese. Cheese sauce, sharp cheddar, blue cheese. It was as though I was trapped in a cheese world, not that I was (and will ever be) complaining. There were also what seemed like olives, though it could be mushrooms (if it was, regrets because I totally left them at the side of the plate). And then, there were chilli flakes.
If you are light eater, this snack could somehow fill you up, mostly because of the cheese content.
