Breakfast

Came because of great reviews and was surprised to find the eating house hardly filled on a sat morning. We ordered 2 traditional breakfast sets but it did not impress us much. The eggs are as good as YaKun's but the toasts didn't surprise us. The drinks are also mediocre. Was rather appalled at one incident when one of the staffs passed a hot drink while holding the handle and expected me to hold the glass cup when it is obviously very hot. The server also didn't have much patience and the cup almost dropped. I think the service could really be improved.

Checked out this new place called Roots Kitchen Bar. Food was really high quality and price I was very affordable, I felt it was a great value. The eggs Benedict came with prosciutto parma, and caviar served on a waffle. Totally blew my expectations away, just when I thought I was getting bored of eggs benny! Yum.

Ambience is one of the best, quiet environment. Food is big portion and could share between two ladies. All-day breakfast and the Caesar chicken salad is definitely tasty!

ITS SO GOOD AND SO WORTH IT!! each for SGD $10, the gashouse eggs are soo good together with the cheese and the brioche french toast is awesome when eaten all together (toast+banana+sauce)
