A yummilicious lunch at Viva's Chic-a-boo with non-fatty fresh fried chicken from an offshoot by Aston. I prefer the spicy version, more of a kick than original which is saltier. Thigh meat is tender and white, not a sign of that dark bloody look as you get near to the bones. A must-try! I waited some time for my order though the place was not busy. Perhaps this a sign of freshly fried food and not serving food that has been prepared way ahead of order. None of that soggy oily smell coming from the skin too. Love it!
Satisfyingly spicy and additive chilli noodle (aka prawn noodle dry). Generous serving for $4. Thumbs up!
More of a lunch affair but it's here cooler in the evening. Managed to get here before they sell out by 6.30-7pm... stewed cabbage is soft as it should be, pork chop is nicely marinated and savoury, soya + mild curry gravy elevate the plain rice to a higher level. Thumbs up! Better to go early to avoid running out of dishes towards the evening.
Tastes better than the overrated stalls at Fengshan Blk 85 with less queue! Open evenings till 1am for your supper fix!
Bought this size just to try the yoghurt itself. It's nice but I'll not queue for more than 5mins just for this. Llao llao is creamier than Yami yoghurt but I somehow prefer Yami.
