Dessert / Sweet Treats
The custard itself is smooth and creamy. Its medium firmness maintains its form but melts in the mouth. It is also not obscenely sweet with a slight hint of vanilla 》$15
Tokyo Banana-inspired dessert by Chef Derek Cheong made with roasted banana ice cream, peanut butter ganache, peanut sponge and a drizzle of coffee caramel. It really does taste like Tokyo Banana!

Sticky date pudding made from Medjool dates, gula apong butterscotch, Madagascar vanilla ice cream, peanut streusel and orange perfume. It was nice watching the chef in action spraying rum and blow torching it before serving it to us. What a nice sweet treat to share and end the meal with some hints of alcohol 》$12
Thanks Burpple for the invite and QĪN for hosting 🙂
Apple lime compote, vanilla crème and yuzu sorbet 》$17
Served with hazelnut ice cream and chocolate sauce. These golden brown churros are not oily, served warm and crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside 》$26
Thanks Burpple for the invite and Tonito for hosting 🙂
Fluff Stack serves the jiggliest, fluffiest and lightest pancakes. The pancakes did not deflate even after it had cooled and left it there for a while. This strawberry cheese souffle pancake comes with strawberry coulis, fresh strawberries, homemade cheese foam and snow icing powder. The souffle pancake has an eggy aftertaste and the light/airy cheese foam has hints of saltiness which complements well with the sweetness of the strawberry coulis 》$13.50
Each dessert hotpot comes with a choice of base (milk tea / coconut milk) with 5 toppings and includes condensed milk, gula melaka and oreo 》$9.90 (U.P. $17.80)
We get to choose from a range of toppings such as fruits (mango/kiwi/watermelon), grass jelly, red bean, nata de coco, black tea jelly, sago, yogurt granules, taro ball, raisin, black pearls, chendol, aiyu jelly, ginkgo nut, mini dumpling ball and beancurd (original/mango/strawberry).
We chose to have milk tea as our base with mango, mini dumplings, black Pearls, aiyu jelly and taro ball as toppings. They are quite generous with the portion of toppings served. Water was given to activate the dry ice for a cool smokey photo-worthy effect.
The milk tea was served chilled. It was not too sweet and I wish the ratio of tea to milk could be stronger. The mini dumplings were colourful but tasteless and black pearls lack the soft and chewy texture. Thankfully the fresh mango and taro balls did help to compensate a little. It was a fun experience but if you are looking for a quality bbt then it is a wiser choice to order your favourite cup of bbt elsewhere.

It is always good to end your meal with a good dessert to cleanse the palate. Rich and creamy custard topped with a layer of crispy and sweet caramelised sugar. Perfectly executed with sea coconut, sour cream ice cream and kaffir lime foam that adds citrus and icy creaminess to the original caramelised eggy goodness 😍

Meringue, light whipped cream, chestnut cream vermicelli 》$15
The signature pastry of Angelina. Crispy and dry French meringue under a smooth creamy dome of light whipped cream, covered by chestnut vermicelli. Its shape was apparently inspired by the trending women hairstyle at the time: the sleek short square bob.
I also tried the Angelina's special flavoured tea that contains Oolong tea together with exotic fruit flavours, pineapple pieces, marigold and carthamus petals 》$9.50
Greek yogurt with homemade lemon curd. Served with blueberries, honey and oats》$8.90
A healthy, sweet, sour, crunchy and refreshing dessert. Layered yogurt and lemon curd with a bed of honey, oats and blueberries. The tangy lemon curd helps to keep me awake and refreshed with the sweet blueberries and honey while the oats gives a different crunch and texture.

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
