I genuinely thought this place was going to be overrated before I actually made a visit down, but the waffles ($8.8) here are really crispy and fluffy at the same time! Many people recommended the Earl Grey Lavender Ice-cream and all I have to say is that you should seriously go for it! It tastes exactly like your regular Gryphon tea! (Picture features Pistachio though!)

Thee cookie-like cake base below which tastes subtly sweet, matched well in terms of taste and texture with the smooth and tart lemon curd mousse that opens the appetite. Strawberry jam in between comes with a real strawberey chunk to chew and to boost the jam with actual fruity flavour.

Chocolate lovers beware; this shiny ball of chocolate consists of not only chocolate but chocolate! Smooth chocolate ganache covers off the ball of thick chocolate mousse inside, without being either overly sweet not overly heaty. If there is any definition of sexiness in chocolate, this would well fit the description!

Le Kue is a new patisserie at 20 Haji Lane. Rose Marshmallow was soft, pillowy and chewy yet comes with a very light hint of Bandung-like flavour. Pretty refreshing.
