Though not the most novel of creations, the Sunkissed Salmon ($16.90) was no less tasty than the others. Punchy mentaiko always works like magic with salmon aburi, and this was no exception.
Help yourselves to the assortment of sauces on the service table, and customise your own rolls with interesting ones such as the yuzu mustard, curry mayo (reminiscent of curry Twisties!) and wasabi mayo.
Frequent impulse visits to Rollie Olie would be in place, if only it were friendlier on the pocket. Still, I recommend it if you're looking for a refreshing maki experience.
I have been craving chirashi for the longest time and haven't gotten a chance to satisfy it in US. Finally got my chirashi! Although it was a tad expensive at $46, the sashimi was really fresh! They all just melt in your mouth. It went really well w the japanese seaweed rice ☺️
