I usually prefer pork bone broth for my ramen but this chicken one was not bad. Only down side was that the broth felt a little bit unnaturally thick...
I ordered the black version and the broth was really rich, almost like a gravy. Great for the first half of the meal but got a bit jelat at the end and I couldn’t finish it (I usually make it a point to finish my ramen broth, must not waste!) Will probably order the original one next time.
Very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the broth. It was rich and flavorful but also clean tasting without feeling too heavy. The chashu on the other hand was on the leaner and tougher side. I ordered the spicy version but asked to have the spices served separately so I could control the level of heat to my liking!
Good value in this premium bowl for the many thick and fresh slices of sashimi, and of course the creamy uni and the savory ikura 😍
Finally trying out the super hyped Sushiro! We arrived at about 11.15am on a Sunday and were the first in line. The queue built up very quickly behind us so you really gotta be early! The mount chirashi priced at 28 really is a mountain but the rice underneath the fish was a mountain too 🌚 nonetheless the generous pieces of raw fish were seasoned well and it was an enjoyable bowl. The sushi were really good too.
Loved this Chirashi which was so generous with the thick and fresh slices of sashimi. The rice here is also mixed with an interesting and yummy seasoning - I wiped out the entire bowl! Ambience is great, and the place is bigger than it appears to be from the outside. Suitable for date nights or business lunches.
Warning #1: you're gonna have to queue super long. Warning #2: you're gonna smell like oil so badly. But you won't regret it for sure. This bowl really comes with so much ingredients of such high quality. Especially the pieces of chicken that were so tender and juicy. It's all fried food but doesn't leave you feeling greasy. Plus it comes in a set with a miso soup and chawanmushi, both really good too. TIP: there's an EGG hidden under that pile so be careful not to poke it and let the runny yolk seep away!
Had the regular tonkotsu. The broth was light and tasted clean. But probably not the place for people who prefer more intense broths like those at Keisuke.
This place is tiny, squeezy, warm, and you may have to share tables, but people still queue a long long time just to slurp up a bowl of their ramen. And you don't even get to take your time to enjoy it cos hungry faces will be staring at you from the outside, and the staff will ask you to speed up even if you're eating just a littleeeee bit slower. The tonkotsu broth is really thick and flavorful on its own so do get the original one! We feel like the black one has too much pepper and masks the flavor of the broth. They also provide free flow hard boiled eggs and a marinated bean sprouts as side dishes. Approx 17 bucks nett for the original tonkotsu ramen with all toppings.
Came here for the one-for-one nabes on the entertainer app, which made it a really good deal. Generous portions of ingredients especially the veggies (only one portion pictured). The beef for the sukiyaki very tender and the broth was also super yummy, not too sweet.
VERY good value for money! A very satisfying meal from appetizer to dessert, I can't wait to go back already.
Decided to have the salmon don even though the famous one is really the beef don. Overall was a nice dish, especially the nicely torched salmon belly!
