Halalll Cafe // Restaurant
C H E E S E! The wraps was good thou more cheese is needed. The cheese fries in a cup were drenched in cheese, just the way I liked it
This new cafe has an interesting menu of malay food choices as well as western. I tried their nasi goreng kampung special which comes with egg, keropok and satay for only $6.90! The dish was delicious and the rice was spicy, just the way i liked it. The drink i had was longan lemon lime drink and it was refreshing and helps to cool you down after chomping the spicy food.
I feel that this is the best place for desserts! Especially love their combinations of sweet and salted. What's better is that it's halal!
About 9 different burgers to choose from, all veggie burger but they try to make it taste like meat (for the patty). Halal friendly!
I feel that there's two ends to this dish, so you really gotta mix it all up to have a taste. Would burn a hole in your wallet IMO, but worth a try!
Pretty filling food! There's set lunch/dinner, really affordable IMO, for a cafe especially! And what's best? It's halal! Will definitely come back.
Lovely food, will be back for their tea time!!!
Pretty darn good food, considering we're hungry and filled up our stomachs pretty well! Would love to come back to try their desserts!
Many places can do fusion food, but not a lot can make it work like how Rouse does. A muslim-owned cafe, the industrial and grungy theme is rather raw here, with a bit of old-meets-new by retaining some features of its older tenant. The menu features a few Latin-American twists to typical brunch fare, such as the Quinoa Quake which is insanely tasty. A lot of emphasis has also been put in the coffee apart from its spectacular menu, with them working with Dutch Colony Coffee to create a blend unique to Rouse. Certainly a reward for those who specially make their way down to this small street within Jalan Besar.
Middle east | western cuisine creamy pasta. Taste good but too much vege and floral taste that dont taste good with pasta.
Studio Cafe SG is a new addition to Toa Payoh's buzzing food scene. Alongside local dishes like nasi goreng and nasi ayam penyet, expect western dishes like sirloin steak, pasta and even mussels. The food here is reasonably priced and there is no GST or service charge, so if you're looking for good food without breaking the bank, give this place a try!

Le Steak by Chef Amri is an affordable family-friendly steakhouse that is well-loved for their grilled chicken, sirloin steak and seared salmon -- all priced reasonably below $20. Even the desserts of bread pudding or creme brulee are a hit at just under $10. If you're in the Jalan Kayu area, this is the perfect place for dinner with your loved ones. Burppler Lydia Sonia says, "One of the best steak I tried. Juicy and tender, cooked to perfection."
