I’ve always wanted to try pita bakery but in the past they didn’t have a seat down area. Now it has around 10 seats? Fill free sandwich has vegetables and falafel w a spicy sauce and a yoghurt sauce. Would be great if there was some hummus but I guess I will have to go down and get their tasting set to try their hummus!

I actually prefer this type of soufflé pancakes. It’s not overly fluffy which means less eggy taste but still melts in your mouth! 😋

This labour day, I chose to have "labour of love" crafted by Chef Tanisha, @tanisha_m . Roasted pumpkin soup, smoky pulled pork quesadillas and Pear almond cake. The roasted pumpkin soup had ginger for a slight spicy feel and no cream added so that it's not heavy on your appetite. Smokey Pulled Pork Quesadillas was super tender and enough cheese for all cheese lovers alike. The Pear cake was a nice end to the meal with a brandy infused vanilla bean cream. 🤤 @tanisha_m will be here till 4pm TODAY. @airshipmonniker new concept allows you to try a brand new menu every weekend. Yes you only have one weekend to catch the guest chef for the weekend! And get to learn about their inspiration and their backgrounds! It's $32 for 2 course (Main + Starter/Dessert + Drink ) or $39 for 3 course (Starter + Main + Dessert + Drink). Oh and did I mention they use Nylon single origin Columbia beans, which is a perfect combination of robusta and arabica for the right level of bitterness vs sourness. Or if you don't drink coffee, they have freshly squeezed orange juice. (How many cafes out there do freshly squeezed juices?!) 🍴

3 types available, Medovik (layered honey cake) , chocolate spartak (layered choc cake) and Napoleon Torte ( Russian Mille feuille). Paying homage to @anna_fil culture, I got all 3 cakes 🙆🏻🙆🏻. 🍴
It's v similar to crepe cakes but the layers are made of cake rather than crepe (other than the napoleon torte that IS a crepe cake). The all 3 flavours were v good. The sweetness is well balanced. 🤤🤤🤤 The honey cake is definitely for speculoos lovers, the lotus crumbles layer compliments the tart sour cream v well. The chocolate spartak was bittersweet without being overly jelat! Head down for the last day of the bake sale and their Mediterranean inspired menu for a 3 course meal tmr! They will be around from 9-4pm. Do make your reservations or head down early because they sell out their mains quite fast! 🤤

They will only be available till tmr because @airshipmonniker has a guest chefing concept where different aspiring chefs/ home chefs invade the kitchen every weekend. You're only given one chance to try the dishes created by every chef. So catch them while you can!

The squid was grilled to perfection, with it being slightly chewy. The mixed brown rice was also nice to munch on. Though every side taste good on its own, it didn't quite go well together. #burpplebestbugis

Back to our favourite place to try the new Duck and duck! Smoked duck with foie gras and Calrose rice 😋 and of course our favourite Aburi broccoli salad! The mentaiko burger was a little too creamy for me but the bread couldn't be better toasted. Yum #wednesdate #midweek #burpple #sgcafes

I wouldn't say they have the best snacks, but at least they have nice drinks and a chill ambience. They have various sets you can choose from anyway. 2 pastry + a Kopi/teh for $5. Kaya toast + eggs + Kopi/teh for $5 etc. Which is a great place to catch up with friends without putting a hole in the pocket! #burpplecheapngood

Beetroot,pumpkin on mixed greens and topped with feta cheese w a honey mustard dressing. Pump up your vitamins and antioxidants to fight this flu season! The mixture of pumpkin, beetroot and feta is a sure winner, but if I were to eat this again, I would order the dressing on the side. Too much dressing can weigh the salad down.

Risotto topped w roasted portobello, shaved Parmesan and white truffle oil. Such a simple and heart warming dish. Being sick and cooped up at home makes me crave for this even more. Risotto that melts in your mouth and that's warm with every bite ☺️

Sometimes I find it difficult to take a photo of a longish plate. Haha. After a whole day in the cold office, what I need was a soupy hot food. But the beef stew was too salty and beefy. The soft fluffy bread made up for it though. I suppose at the end of the day this is a bakery, and their breads are better!

Mine looks like a piece of rag in soap water but really is smoked salmon butternut hash with egg and truffle foam on top!! 😋 #burpple This is what we deserve for waking up at 530am in the morning for a jog 💪🏻💪🏻 though it got cut short by the rain 🙊

A deconstructed tako ball. Homemade egg mayo, fried squid topped with teriyaki sauce and bonito flakes. Such a great combi. Although my jaw got a little tired after biting the fried baby squids. Totally love the homemade egg mayo! I'm saying this from a position of a non mayo eater!
