Places That I Have Been For Coffee & Cakes
Flat White $4.50. Decent coffee here. Good place to chill on a lazy afternoon.
White Coffee $5.00. Decent coffee. Beans from Nylon Coffee Roasters - 4 Chairs. Nicely renovated. Cosy place to have coffee !
Cuppucino $5.00. Great coffee fix at last. Walked around the area and found this quaint little place. No aircon but who cares if coffee is good.
Cuppucino $5.00. Earl Grey Sweet Potato Swiss Roll $3.20. Cuppucino tastes similar to what u can get a Delifrance. Swiss roll is sweet and on the dry side. Could be more moist and flavorful.
Nice and full bodied. Cost $4.50. Nice and cosy place in town and great value considering this is town area.
Cuppucino $5.00. Coffee tastes bitter. Nothing like what I am used to at the nicer coffee places. Coffee beans are roasted in Germany and shipped to Singapore. They tell me the shipments are on a monthly basis. Think the barrister needs more training.
Chestnut Mountain($8.80) & Cappuccino ($5.00). Chestnut ice cream is just so so. Cappuccino taste like it has just lots of milk added to it. Nothing like what I am used to. Coffee smell is weak.
Great cappuccino - L size $5.50 ( cappuccino is on the right hand side)
Cappucino ($5.24) n Pandan Cake ($5.24). Coffee was decent - beans are from highlander coffee. Cake is also decent. They tell me they keep the cakes for a maximum of 2 days only - unlike some cafés that keep the cakes for 5 days if they cannot sell it off.
Salted caramel cake $7.90 ($8.45 w GST) Cappuccino $5.00 ($5.35 w GST) Americano $5.00($5.35 w GST). Pretty decent coffee and cake.
Carrot cake ($7.00) & Latte ($5.50). The latte is decent but the carrot cake was a little dry. They just opened a week ago and have staffing issues.
Red velvet cake ($6.60) was just ok. Think it was not freshly baked - it felt like it was left over from a day or two before. The cappuccino ($6.05) was less than average. There was no aroma.
