Perfect for simple burger and fries, or the classic maggi goreng pattaya, Spize is your all-purpose, crowd-pleasing supper spot. If you're feeling famished and adventurous, try the Mama Mia Murtabak! Tip: order a serving of fries to share, along with a small bowl of fish curry to dip into.
Some say this is the best KL Hokkien Mee in SG, with thicker noodles and crunchy bits of lard. Burppler Terence Chan shares, "I've been hankering for authentic KL hokkein mee since that one fateful night in subang jaya when I was introduced to it. This is a pretty good rendition with plenty of wok hei, thick sticky black sauce that's not too sweet, lotsa pork lard and noodles fried just right." Try it for yourself and share your experience!
Serving less common supper fare, this humble 20 year old Geylang favourite specializes in Taiwan snacks like mee sua, tau huay and you tiao. Burppler Anna Chan says "Small portion but nice n worth it!"
If you've skipped dinner (gasp!) during a long workday, come into the loving embrace of Seng Kee. Their awesome Mee Sua, with its soupy herbal infusion, will bring you back to Ah Ma's kitchen. You can choose from several variations- lean pork slices, kidneys, beancurd, and even fried meesua with crab. It's not Ah Ma, but Ah Ma's probably sleeping at 3am (best not to wake her).
