The cream wasn't overly thick unlike the ones you usually get in your pasta, but slants more towards a soup. The soup also comes with mini mentaiko beads that adds an interesting tinge of crunchiness.
The salmon and maguro were very fresh and juicy, and the sesame dressing that cams with this dish was impressive as well. Perhaps they could have cut the egg strips to thicker pieces for a greater egg presence. A feeling dish although the bowl isn't all that big. Great to order for the lunch set offer with a drink!
Love how thick they make these drinks, yet you don't feel cloyed after drinking them.
Priced at $6.90 for students (excluding gst and service charge), this dish is definitely worth the money for most considering it's from an authentic Japanese restaurant. But perhaps the portion could have been bigger (at least for me).
Cool try at creating something novel. Otah was a tad too soft. Nothing really bad but didn't seem to fit into the ultimately Japanese restaurant.
The original version with generous succulent chashu. The soup's rich in flavour and the ramen sends you slurping off happily.
The modern version of ramen, infused with their special miso paste. When you mix the red ball of paste in the broth turns reddish-black. Love it!
The thick and juicy chicken thigh was a savory experience. Can't forget the tenderness and flavor of its meat. The charcoal ramen was chewy and complemented by a tinge of sweetness. The broth was impressive as well, rich with flavour but not too salty. Filling and fulfilling! $11.80 for a large bowl like this is definitely a good deal.
Love how Ichiban sushi always comes up with new creative sushi ideas
Just enough meatiness, crunchiness, juiciness
Sorry that isn't the real name I can't rmb what it's called. Nevertheless it's definitely creative. The salmon in the middle was especially juicy.
