Juicy, tender and sofffttt. This dish needs no description, just head down to eat it to taste for yourself!
The foie gras at black swan never fails to excite my taste buds. It is so soft that it melts in your mouth. In all, the black swan serves up very tasty dishes esp so for tapas.
This dish kick started off the Bincho Set. It was so delicious, the chicken liver pate was smooth and creamy, when spread on the crunchy bread it was like heaven. On the plate there's salmon with sauce so tasty i drank it all up! Char siew and potato mash. The set meal albeit expensive, bt worth every bit!
Thick creamy tonkotsu soup, with chewy ramen noodles. The charsiu was a generous serving as every bite on it puts you on pork heaven. Downside was that the egg yolk wasnt runny enough.
Sweet char siew with a hint of saltiness from the squid ink!
Cheap, good and yummy! But might need to wait cause the restaurant only has limited seatings!
I had the beef cheek stew, my friend had the black alaskan cod, and we both shared the lava cake. We were surprised to see the outlet so empty on a saturday evening. However the food delivered past our expectations given the space turnout. The beef cheek was so soft, and black alaskan cod was flavourful with a twist of miso taste, and the lava cake saw chocolate oozing out. The service staff were very attentive too. We spent about $50 per person. Recommended restaurant!
This was from Restaurant Week. The shaved fennel didnt do justice to the salmon, nor did the accompanying sauce flavours (roasted garlic puree and honey emulsion). It was interesting to taste bits of vanilla here and there thou. Portion was too tiny to be filling as well.
