Ramen + Japanese
One of the fluffiest omelettes I've ever had that was buttery and oh so good! The curry was sweet as per most Japanese curries but went well with the omelette and rice.
Large portion for sharing among 3-4 persons, however could afford to be more generous on the amount and size of the sashimi & unagi. Felt like I was eating it for the rice.
Healthy poke bowl at not too bad a price.
Healthier meal option that doesn't break the bank too much.
Unfortunately didn't like this as the batter was too thick in contrast to whatever little filling of pumpkin and corn. Was rather dry and oily too.
Loved this side dish! Oysters were plump and juicy and the breaded batter had a nice crunch to it.
After long hot soaks at the onsen, the springy Cha Soba at Yunomori Café hit all the right spots.
Was at Northpoint looking for a dinner place and chanced upon Kanshoku Ramen Bar where there wasn't a queue, so why not?
I was pleasantly surprised by the Truffle Ramen (Dry Version). Loved that the truffle was not overpowering and lightly accented the taste of the springy noodles. The char siew on the side was also extremely flavourful with a hint of char. This bowl came topped with an onsen egg which i promptly mixed into enjoy the whole dish.
Slather anything in mentaiko and instantly the dish becomes a star in my eyes. Gyoza-Ya's Pan-fried pork Dumplings slathered in Mentaiko Miso is no exception.
What I always order when I visit Gyoza-Ya. Their garlic fried rice is fragrant to a bomb and what I consider comfort food.
Bowl of premium ingredients with the same thick slices found in Chikuwa Tei's Chirashi ばらすし. If you can, just go for it and pamper your tastebuds with this on the menu!
Always loved chawanmushi for its custardy eggy texture & taste. Chock full of ingredients and warms the belly thoroughly before the main meal.
