This Earl grey gin was fantastic! Using their signature Singapore Dry Gin, infused with Earl grey tea - fragrant, incredibly refreshing and so easy to drink. A pity they donโt sell it bottled, wouldโve love to bring one home if they did.
Caught a whiff of coffee before looking around and found the source - this little, literal, hole in the wall space in a back lane along Joo Chiat. Currently on gratuity basis so do bring along some cash!
Coffee was pretty decent so this was a fun find (behind Crane/ pretty near Sojao - a good coffee stop before shopping ๐). For non-coffee drinkers, they have matcha/ hojicha too!
Tribeca is a multi menu concept bistro located within The Grandstand. With fun neon lights, super spacious seatings and a generous provision of PowerPoints, one can work here and fuel your day with caffeine + plenty of food options to choose from ; and have some after work drinks from The Vaultโs pretty huge drinks menu.
Got myself a good olโ Espresso Martini - with a twist - a low calorie one replacing kahlua with agave nectar! Tasted pretty light.
Just a short walk from Kembangan MRT, Seng Coffee Bar is one of my new fav place to pop by for a quick coffee break in between appointments. My flat white was quite enjoyable and I like the biscotto served together with it!
Pretty good coffee (beans from Proud Mary which I somehow enjoyed better than the one I had at Craig Rd๐ฌ)!
Newly opened at Marine Parade, @cocoboss.sg serves a pretty refreshing cup of coconut shake great for the recent weather! Liked that one could customise sugar level (I usually go for 0% because itโs sweet enough) and the crunch preference of coconut flesh (bits/ chunkier) and there are lots of other flavours to choose from. Thereโs also a โSurprise Meโ option on the menu for the indecisive people๐
No complains here, flat white was smooth and nutty.
As Habibi-san shares a space with Bar Stories, get your bespoke cocktails to pair with the delish food here! This was based on Gโs favourite Old Fashioned description of whisky based and something citrusy. Scotch whisky-based, with hibiscus, refreshing yuzu and lemongrass; the layer of foam was citrusy, and the little dried orange crunch on the side was a pleasant surprise to bite into!
@tionghoespecialtycoffee has now become my go-to whenever Iโm at VivoCity and I never leave without having a cuppa here. For those who donโt already know, theyโre located in a cozy nook within NTUC Fairprice Xtra (B2).
Preferred the flat white here. Made from their Gachala house blend, it was well-balanced and nutty with a chocolatey finish. If youโve got the time to have your coffee on the spot, you get to drink from a pretty ceramic cup!
We liked their house blend enough to buy a pack home. You can also purchase green beans for roasting, or roasted beans and theyโll grind them to suit your preferred brewing method.
My favourite was definitely the alcoholic latte - Popcorn Quarantini. Reminded me of Baileyโs, wasnโt too sweet and was aromatic! In fact, each cold brew was aptly named - the white was creamy and fragrant; the black was smooooooth.
PS. Theyโve just launched two new flavours, Pink Salt Chocolate and Midnight Mocha.
White Magic is good as ever. Was also pleasantly surprised by the Sea Salt Chocolate which had citrusy notes to it๐ป
These tasty brews are going at $38 for a bundle of 6 (instead of $6.9/ bottle), with islandwide delivery available (free for orders over $50).
A little disappointed that theyโre now further from their original location in the East but Iโm glad they did because now theyโve got a wider reach AND theyโre also on Burpple Beyond so YAY ONE FOR ONE!
Got the Grapefruit Genmaicha - I loved how intense the genmaicha was, with a subtle bitterness; while the grape oolong was easy to drink with its delicate sweetness.
I loved their rose lychee raspberry ($7.20) too! Pricier, but I liked how the rose tea was light and well-balanced with fragrant lychee and a slight tartness of raspberry.
