King Seafood Risotto. Stockpot: basic trio of white onions, carrots and celery. Prawn heads, mussels and sweet clam juice. Just about this time I wished there was some good whole bream or salmon head that I could throw inside. This 2 hour long stockpot was then used to bathe some toasted Italian arborio rice. This is the part where you need to show some serious TLC. When all that strong seafood flavour from the stockpot has been savoured by the rice, on a separate pan, squid rings and the main course, the epic king prawns are sautéed with minced garlic, before tossing it all up in this risotto. Parsley, fresh parmesan, and lemon zest. Touch of cream and black pepper. This is by far the most epic meal I've cooked. The King Seafood Risotto, I call this mammoth. #foodporn

15 minute quick fix: Beef cubes. Fettucini. Cream. Tomato purée. Lemon. Salt. Pepper. Basil. Lots and lots of them. End of night, back to camp. #foodporn

8-minute quickfire lunch. Rosemary tenderloin beef cubes simmered and bathed in stock and balsamic vinegar. Scrambled and toasts. No time to lose! #foodporn

Everything on this plate is pretty much ready-made. We got the lamb and rosemary sausages from the supermarket, and the miso rye bread from tiong bahru bakery yesterday. The rest of it was meant to be a mini cooking lesson so that my girlfriend can learn to cook instead of eating leftover carrot cake and instant noodles! #foodporn

Homemade Classic Tuna Nicoise. Lightly seasoned medium rare tuna steak. Bed of tomatoes, wild rockets, french beans, potatoes and red onions. Light, colorful, bright, and that tuna steak just kills everything. So easy to make!

Yogurt pilaf chicken thigh with sweet onions. Buttered simmered potatoes with chives. Toasted Italian bread with herbs. Homemade lemonade. Done for the weekend. #foodporn
