Definitely a dish worth trying as the combination is truly delicious. Chef Maetomo has once again rose upon the challenge of making innovative dish. Go try his Omakase

Really service to the core. Clients choose own fruits (two types) and then they’re cut right in front of you. Fresh fruits freshly cut. Excellent service and yummy fruits.

This is a follow up to last review. This dinner sprung a few surprises. Had visited Kyoto but didn’t have fine dining before. Hence my expectation is not high but the outcome was super delectable. From the starter (persimmon with sesame paste) and we can eat the hollowed out sweet and crunchy persimmon to dessert of chestnut ice cream in monaka sandwich, every dish is par excellent. To me two dishes stood out. The sweet and sour tilefish(lightly fried on the outside) making it crispy and yet soft on the inside. And the most surprising dish of Kyoto wagyu beef sukiyaki cos I’m not aware of beef being a part of Kyoto food. The tender beef was cooked perfectly to match the hajicha rice. Just this dish alone make me wants to go Kyoto in the near future.

A very exquisite fine dinner by chef Yozo from Ankyu restaurant in Kyoto. From the start till the end every dish is well cooked and presented. We had very delicious Kyoto beef and the sweet and sour tilefish is yummy.

The Japanese celebrate their New Year on 1 January. So to experience a true traditional Japanese celebration the best way to do is to have dinner at a Japanese restaurant. The box is full of quality ingredients such as lobster, abalones, assorted Japanese vegetables, tamago etc. It's big enough for four pax. Very yummy yummy yum yum yum.
