It's sure a rare thing to find such a huge bowl of noodles with an arsenal of ingredients but only the meatballs were truly tasty... the rest was not... I was pretty sad that the porridge shop was no longer in this mini train market...
No idea why they are so fascinated in adding bananas to their deserts...
I have no idea what I ordered but this was a really good bee hoon soup found beside the bus station in Ayuthaya. Strongly recommended for anyone visiting this old city!
Thai boat noodles are incredibly cheap (50 cents SGD per bowl) in Bangkok and one can just see students eating at least 10 odd bowls in one meal during dinner times! Being adventurous, we ordered random variations from the menu and we ended up with 3 bowls of different noodles having 3 different soup bases. Personally I prefer the vermicelli and the yellow noodles as I particularly liked their texture in these noodles. The abundance of fried shallots in their noodles shows how much the Thais like to give their soup the "葱油” (fried shallot) fragrance and taste! The most original boat noodles on the left was the most flavorful one and it goes really well with the fried wonton skin! The so called Tom yum taste was basically more of a mixture of chili bits and tomato sauce which wasn't particularly nice or fanciful. The odd one was the Yong tau foo flavor where the noodles appears to be pinkish red, the taste was similar to the one I previously ate at chinatown in Singapore the braised Toufu kind, however I believe that this is an acquired taste as it is not easy for us to accept. Overall the bowls all each had a tiny fishcake, a few meatballs and also some coriander and I think 5 bowls will do the trick to make one full!
Chocolate syrup with Oreo bits mashed into rolls topped with whipped cream all over. It an texture where your initial bite isn't as cold but it gives one chills after it settles down in one's mouth! Those brave ones can try eating one whole roll at a go to give themselves a freezing flavor burst within their mouths!
From the much raved number 6 restaurant, comes this affordable plate of rice, overflowed with garlic, it was too salty and too much garlic. :/
The dark soy sauce was really good!
The best thing we have done was to choose this hotel where right beside it sells $2SGD dry noodles which were really good, choice of beef, fishballs, pork or chicken! Both soap and dry versions were delicious and it's chili is extremely spicy. However they only open after dinner time!
Food has gone so bad in Phuket I resorted to ordering this in a restaurant
Strangest latte art ever for a coffee.. And it's wifi password is latte art 😂
It's like singapore sweet and sour fish, just that it's shrimps....
Pretty awesome for its price.. Not the hygiene though..
