Kissa X Coffee

If you've missed X Coffee previously located in Isetan Japan Store, you'll be pleased to know that these coffee maestros have found a new home in TTDI. Spot the green signboard along Jalan Burhanuddin Helmi, and head up to the first floor to find the coffee lounge. Inside, the coffee bar takes centre stage with its sleek wood finishing and bar stools. Have a Filter Coffee (from RM18) made with beans carefully sourced and roasted by the famed Maruyama Coffee in Japan. Expect a wide range of fruity and acidic options that come served with notes about the beans and farmer. The Long Black (from RM5) and Iced Latte (RM10) will also satisfy. Ps. A wide selection of brewing equipment from Japan including coffee beans and ceramic cups are available for purchase.

Haven’t had a decent milk coffee in a while and this truly delivered. Boasting nutty and almost toffee-like flavours with each sip, and the flavours did not disappear despite the hefty amounts of ice. Got this at RM10 as it’s their opening promo price!

Falling so hard for this gorgeous new space in TTDI. If it looks familiar, it’s opened by the same folks that use to run X Coffee in Isetan Japan Store. Opted for a filter coffee and went with the fruity selection from India. Super light-bodied and so clean and smooth. Filter coffees aren’t the cheapest here but it’s so worth it especially to see then brew it using the gold dripper.
