Pretty good. Not your usual lame ones, but not elite either

Comes w pickles too, which were good

Lousy. The pork belly is slightly dry and stringy, and that's absolutely unacceptable at this price for these few thin slices

Their rice base is decent, good Japanese rice with mild sweetness. It's comfort food, don't expect some crazy umami. Burnt bottom didn't rlly add much to the experience actl, despite the promising strong charcoal smell at first

The flavour is alright but the portion is abit unacceptable for the price. Wagyu was sweet and there's good natural aroma but it's too thinly sliced to be melt in your mouth

I forgot which idiot blogger wrote that 2-3 claypots is good for 4 pax, but srsly I think 1 pot may not even be enough for 1 person. (Ok maybe 1 grown man)

No cap this is the best oden I've had.

In fairness I haven't had any kaiseki oden but I've tried quite a few highly recommended ones alr.

Most importantly their broth is not weak and there's even some smokiness, unlike the super clear water that's ubiquitous

Radish is the best I've had, the bean curd bag had a very sticky mochi that's full of it's natural rice umami, white fishcake was super soft(as soft as kamoshita's) and the two pieces of fishcake mixed w veggies were super juicy and loosely packed, w nice bits of crunch and flavour from the veggies. Hard boiled egg was almost perfect, as it should be

Not a fan of oden in general, however if find yourself here for some reason then you must have this

part of the Dinner Set for 2 ($150)

A sushi rice bowl topped with medley of thick slices of Salmon, Maguro, Kampachi, Scallop, Amaebi, Tobiko, Ikura and Anago, served with Salad, Chawanmushi, Miso Soup, Pickles and Dessert.
