Head on over to Jalan Lumut, near the World Trade Center Kuala Lumpur. This hidden seafood restaurant is one of the best in the city! Come for the salted egg crab and their sweet and sour crab (RM 140 for two crabs) and while you are at the crusteacean feast, order some creamy butter prawns (RM 38 per kg) and trust us, you might want to drench your fried rice with the creamy butter sauce! Round up the gang for a crabby feast at this no-frills restaurant in SS2. Warning: This dinner comes with at least a 30-minute wait, so be sure to have a light bite before you start queueing. Start your meal with the super juicy and flavourful Chicken Wings (from RM3). The super fresh Crabs (from RM50/600g) are the main event here, and Burppler Terence Ong recommends having them two ways – steamed and doused in the delicious sweet and sour sauce. But wait, don't finish all the gravy! Order a plate of Fried Rice (from RM8) and drizzle it over — it's delicious.

Lankan Crab

The Lankan Crab serves only fresh mud crabs. Two medium-sized crabs make up an order. Each of them weighed between 400 and 500 grammes. An XXL order consists of two crabs that weigh between 650 and 700 grammes apiece. Except under the full moon, all the crabs here are male! Female crabs, on the other hand, are available upon request, fully fleshed and roe-filled.

Negombo Crab (RM120) is a Sinhalese dish that pays honour to the island's westernmost fishing community. It's a mild, untoasted curry that lets the mud crabs' sweetness show through.
