Take a restful break among these unique nature cafes and you'll see your inner zen restored in no time!
For Dining In Fairyland
As you step through the doors of Le Jardin, be prepared to be transported to Monet’s garden in Giverny, Paris or well, any gorgeous European garden. Located in the historic Fort Canning Park, this cosy and serene restaurant serves up divine French and European creations such as Ora King Salmon ($30), Kurobuta Pork Loin ($34) and a must-try for steak lovers – Margaret River Black Angus Ribeye ($42). Burppler Angeline L even braved the rain "just for this beautifully decorated flowerly cafe."
For Fresh Flavours of the Mediterranean
Housed within the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay, the scenic Hortus tempts with a host of hearty mains, tagines and rustic dishes straight off their woodfire grill amidst a lush flowery backdrop. Try their popular mains such as Fremantle Octopus ($32) in green harissa sauce, Spatchcock Baby Chicken with Merguez Spices ($32), or Lamb Tagine ($28) cooked in sweet spices, prunes & apricots, and you're bound to be enticed through the day. Don't forget their afternoon tea with simply incredibly sweets and savoury pastries!
For A Korean Autumn
From the same people behind Kream Beer in Duxton comes Kreams Krafthouse. Located at Maxwell Chambers, this irresistible cafe looks like it came out of a Korean drama, complete with autumn leaves and rustic wooden furniture. The drinks (from $7 to $9) are like what you'd find in a Korean cafe, like Dalgona Coffee (that you don't have to whip yourself), Creamy Choco, and Sweet Potato Latte.
Give their scones ($4.50) a try too, with flavours such as Cranberry, Coffee, and Korean Yuzu Citrus! Burppler Rachel Loh calls it "high key romantic and really chill. Stayed for most of midday and definitely think it’ll be such a mood at night."
For Brunch In A 'Garden'
Serving you drinks, foods and desserts using only the freshest picked natural ingredients, we recommend this garden-themed cafe's Bulgogi Beef Cream Fettuccine ($24) which includes beef tenders and pork bacon with cream, onion and sesame seeds garnished in bulgogi sauce, or their Salmon & Avocado Rice Bowl ($18) offering cured salmon, avocado, poached eggs, sashimi shoyu amidst a filling of red rice and shio kombu. There's also a beauty lounge right next to it, where you can always pop over for a hair treatment, manicure or pedicure session over brunch!
