For Creative Libations
Jekyll & Hyde has come a long way since opening back in 2013, boasting marvelous creativity all the way. Burppler Cheryl Lim calls Jekyll and Hyde "hands down my favourite bar in Singapore. I always enjoy their unique concoctions and interesting flavors," saying she is in love with their clarified P&C Cocktail ($22), a concoction of pineapple-infused whisky, dark chocolate, creme de cacao and cinnamon syrup — just one of their 16 signature cocktails!

For Artisanal Japanese Bartending
Boasting mid-century Japanese vibes is this sleek bar with a Western-meets-Japanese style. With gorgeous wood finishings, plush seats and dim light, this spot is excellent for night caps, intimate drinks with your mates or even a date. Snack on delish bar bites such as the Wasabi Cheese Terrine ($8) and the Ebi & Corn Sando ($22). Burppler Evan Mua enjoyed the Quiet Inlet ($25) with umeshu and rum, as well as a granny smith apple garnish that melds "into the mixture and imbuing an understatedly sour vibrancy which was ideally complementary of the spirit base."

For Creative Modern Classics
Recently ranked top in the 2020 Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, Jigger & Pony is one of the first bars in Singapore to redefine age-old recipes into modern classics (from $25). As Burppler Chubby Cheeks puts it, "What more can I say? Nothing but impressive cocktail concoctions with Asian-influenced ingredients that comes (shakes) so well together!" She likes the Genmaicha Bellini and Yuzu Whiskey Sour, but other favourites include the local-inspired Pandan Gardens and chocolatey Cocoa Barrel Chancellor.

For Literary-Inspired Drinks
Hidden behind plain white doors at the buzzing Keong Saik Road, The Old Man is a gorgeous bar inspired by the writings of Ernest Hemingway. And did we mention it's currently ranked 58 on the World's 50 Best Bars list? Burppler Li Ting Tan tried the To Have and Have Not ($20), a rum-driven concoction with rectified coke and vanilla, "which creates an appetising tart-like aftertaste that sets the mood for a long evening of cocktails to come." The comfy and convivial vibes here are not to be missed!

Zafferano

For Italian Classics
Zafferano has great Italian food, but did you know their cocktails are just as awesome? Plus, we'll never tired of the view from this 43rd-storey restaurant that sits above the Ocean Financial Centre. Try their classic cocktails ($25 each) like the bitter-sweet Negroni, whiskey-based Manhattan, and the nutty sweet Espresso Martini, and don't forget to pair your drinks with their 1-for-1 Special set deals on Burpple Beyond!

For Low-ABV Concoctions
Stop by Amoy Street for a midday tipple or a refreshing pick-me-up in this aesthetic and minimalist bar. Burppler jadey eats loves the "great service and relaxing ambience", and of course, the "uniquely-crafted cocktails". Drinks here are a little on the lighter side, with other flavours taking centre stage instead. Try the Sage 43 ($17) with fino sherry, quinine, grape and sage or aromatic Strawberry 200 ($16) featuring rose wine, bay leaf, guava and strawberry!

For Sky-High Sessions
You've probably heard of this sky-high gem at the top of the former UOB Centre. After all, it's one of the highest alfresco bars in the world! Take a sip from curated cocktails and highballs against breathtaking sunset views. Burpple Cherie ordered the Pure Heaven ($20) and says it "looks like what they'll welcome you to heaven with." "It's indeed a blissful drink with the honeyed taste of Kyoho sake, cognac, rose syrup and yuzu juice." Other hot favourites include the pretty Florals In Bloom ($20) with pomegranate and pink grapefruit juice, and the spicy Temasek Smash ($20) with fresh ginger, red chilli and pineapple juice.

The Bar At 15 Stamford

For The Classiest Drinks
The majestic Bar at 15 Stamford is all about exploration, and we don't just mean discovering new cocktails. Their libations are named after long-lost islands, like the Bermeja Island ($25) with Tequila blanco, stout vermouth, and ginger ale, or St Brendan Island ($25) that sees rye whisky, dry vermouth, chai masala honey and cream. Then there are the drinks inspired by the explorers themselves, like the signature Plantation 1840 ($24) spotlighting Cuban rum, pineapple juice, vermouth, and sugar cane syrup!
