For your next brunch blowout, find a stylish spot in this menswear label cafe. The nosh is surprisingly Asian-inflected, with the distinctly-flavoured Laksa Barramundi ($24), a community favourite. If you’re looking for something to fuel you for the day, follow Burppler C & WK’s lead with the Southern Chicken & Waffle ($22) with huge portions and “charcoal waffle was crispy and tasty, best paired with the salted egg sauce. The fried chicken was pretty good too - flavourful and juicy.”

Burppler Audrey & Cady especially “enjoyed the scent of lemongrass and garlic over the white wine sauce and anchovies. There was a generous amount of Korean clams as well,” in the Spaghetti Alle Vongole ($24).

Tucked within Hotel Clover's lobby is this cosy 18-seater space decked out with marble tables, plenty of greenery and an open concept kitchen where you can watch the chefs work their magic. Start off the 5-Course Set Menu with 4 appetizers for sharing, main course of Salted Confit Chicken Leg and end off the meal on a sweet note with their Smoked Hay Semifreddo and Chocolate Textures dessert. Their Truffled Capellini, Wild Ceps starter had Burppler David L raving: “The truffle taste was very subtle and not too overpowering. The flavour of the dish was well balanced and you could taste the mushroom as well as seaweed taste. Great starter!”
