And guess what I had for my tea break yesterday? BEST ROJAK in singapore.
.
Located within the Toa Payoh HDB Hub Gourmet Paradise food court lies a rojak stall well-known by locals for its rojak having awesome taste and fresh ingredient. This stall is really popular, queue is always present; the queue is so long that it will take averagely at least 15 minutes to buy the rojak. But for the great quality of the rojak, I would say it is worth queuing for.
.
The rojak consists of the usual ingredients such as the you tiao, white radish slices, pineapple chunks, cucumber slices, jicama slices, etc mixed with sweet rojak dressing and prawn paste topped with peanut bits. Also if you order the ones $5 and above, it comes with additional sotong. The rojak has a generous, or rather abundant, amount of peanut bits covering most of the rojak. The dish tastes very sweet due to the strong and sweet dressing they use, and the ingredients were fresh, pineapple and cucumber chunks has a juicy crunchy feel when eaten, the you tiao is crispy.
.
The price is between $3 to $6.
