Set in the new and swanky InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay, Wolfgang's Steakhouse is the new it place for meat connoisseurs to celebrate special occasions. Prices are steep, but the combination of stellar meats, personalised service and elegant ambience — think walnut wood floors and alabaster chandeliers — makes this well worth the splurge. The restaurant prides themselves on their dry aged beef. According to Burpple Tastemaker Felicia Sim, the process is carefully carried out in-house in a designated aging room for 28 days, which allows the meat to develop its deep, rich flavour. Taste that in the USDA Prime Dry Aged Porterhouse Steak ($185 for two), which sports a lovely caramelised crust and perfectly pink center. It's great with a side of Creamed Spinach ($11) and a glass of red — wines by the glass start from a decent $18.
Avg Price: $130 per person
