Stepping into Sun Lok Noodle House, you will probably feel that it’s one of those neighborhood mall’s eatery, with a basic interior setup that does honest and comforting homecooked food. However, both of us were truly surprised with the Fried Hor Fun with Egg and Seafood ($11). The hor fun had a deep and strong wok hei aroma, complemented by the slippery smooth egg mixture and the medley of seafood such as prawns, sliced fish and scallops. If there is one dish that truly stands out and gives you a reason to return, this wat dan hor fun has got to be it. The other dim sum dishes that we have tried were nothing fantastic or mind-blowing but decent enough for a family meal.
