The fast food fish & chips scene is like murky waters filled with substandard species, but perhaps @bigfishsmallfish is a shiny big fish in that small pond.
Unlike typical fast food, their batter held less grease and more airy crunch. In particular, the ๐ต๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ฏ๐๐ ($13.60) flesh was moist and tender with a tinge of melt-in-mouth gelatin.
Halibut's milder flavour also enabled it as a great vessel for the sauces. It's fun dunking big fish into myriad small ponds of sauces, as well as those sinful golden crisps.
Don't expect restaurant quality but for that amount of coin, this is the best Davy Jones has to offer
