Thick slabs of sashimi, comprising salmon, salmon belly, tuna, swordfish, yellow tail, and scallop, plus tamago and cucumber atop a bed of Japanese rice. To be honest, other than the salmon and scallop, the other sashimi were not as fresh as the ones at the Ngee Ann City branch, which was rather disappointing. Still, the portions and cuts are generous and this still ranks as one of the better chirashi dons.
The atmosphere is noisy and slightly hole in the wall – not the relaxed atmosphere you get at the Ngee Ann City branch, but the waitresses also didn’t seem in as much of a hurry to chase us out.
