Akashi - my favourite restaurant for steak 🐄🥩 cooked Japanese-style!

The teriyaki marination here is slightly sweet and the beef, being well-marbled, is always very tender and succulent. Highly recommend that it be cooked medium (medium rare is a little too "bloody" for my liking 😅). The set is served with cabbage salad, Japanese rice, miso soup, pickles and watermelon, and is overall very satisfying. Great for one of those special TGIF meals.

A friend commented before that the quality at Akashi is not always very consistent, but I "argued" that the company that we dine with also affects our overall experience too. Who else agrees with me? 🙋‍♀️
