A cold rainy afternoon called for a soupy lunch. Unfortunately, while this dish was beautifully presented, it didn't really deliver in terms of taste. Soup was too light and bland while the rice noodles weren't as chewy as I had hoped. The wantons... really tasted more like flour than meat.
That said, the char siew was still pretty decent. And because I love my wanton mee, I wouldn't write off this stall just yet. Hopefully the dry version will fare better!
