The 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐘𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐢 ($𝟐.𝟕𝟎 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬) isn’t a that bad a bun, it’s just a bad matcha bun. There is a bare semblance of a matcha flavour, instead impersonated by a mild and artificial hint of... green.
Also, I don’t get what they’re trying to do with the BITS of red bean?? Maybe it work better would a red bean paste, because there was almost no red bean flavour, instead masked by the yam paste.
The flakey top has the tiniest bit of matcha flavour, but isn’t flakey nor bitter enough to add anything to the bun.
Overall, this bun isn’t doing much. It’s sweet and chewy, with a mild hint of each of the flavours. I’m just mad it’s none of the things it’s claiming to be.
