Unlike the travesty that was the Hainanese Chicken Rice Balls, this nasi lemak delivers in a largely competent fashion. The juicy otah was like a happy prawn-fish cake hybrid whilst the fried chicken fared slightly less well, being as tough and restrained as a nuzzled Doberman. Fortunately, the sweet and spicy (albeit cautiously tame) sambal swooped in like a svelte, black-dressed and crimson-lipsticked PR associate and made things a lot more fun. 3.4/5
