Instead of using two halves of the usual burger bun, the good people at The Butchers Club squish and pan-fry a grilled cheese sammie for each end. The thick dry aged beef patty may seem underseasoned if tasted on its own, but once wolfed down together with the sweet and salty maple-glazed bacon, caramelised onions, mayo and double American cheese (in addition to the cheese in between both grilled cheese rolls), you'll appreciate the chef's restraint in the salt department. While it's filled with some of my favourite things in the world, it's probably best to share this artery-clogging number with someone else (though the burger monster boyfriend thinks otherwise).
The triple fried spuds were nothing to write home about β fluffy in the middle with crisp edges β but I'm not sure I'd be willing to fork out an additional $8 for a few pieces of wedges again.
While this may not be the cheapest combo, it can easily satiate two tummies, with ample space for dessert after (like Tsujiri's matcha soft serve or Dulcet & Studio's puffs maybe π).
