Tucked away in Katong is @amblingturtle a double storey modern Peranakan cafe, located in The Flow that's just a stone throw away from Marine Parade.

Offering Peranakan-inspired menu with savouries options such as Satay Chicken, Pulled Beef Rendang with options of Croissant/ Sourdough for add-on. They also serves desserts inspired by local flavours such as Pulut Hitam tart & Ondeh Ondeh Cake & assorted kuehs.

The tarts here have buttery crisp cookie crust.

Black Sesame Mochi.
Freshly toasted black sesame seeds pounded to creamy yet nutty paste. The mochi on top was a perfect complement to the tart & the black sesame paste was perfection.
