Review 💬: Initially went for their steak burrito bowl and their half baked cookie dough, both of which was unavailable so we opted for the kolo mee and ribeye bowl instead. Kolo mee was pretty good to me but my friend lamented that she’s had better and at a cheaper price. Though the pork was a little dry, it was still pretty flavourful and when mixed into the noodle with the egg and the chilli oil, it tasted pretty good. However, having to pay an additional $1 for that small dollop of chilli oil was a little disappointing. There was also 1 pickled cauliflower and some picked carrots and cucumber. We opted for brown rice for the ribeye bowl and I thought it was not bad. The steak was seasoned with just your everyday flavouring but was still pretty tasty to me. Came with a small side of smashed avocado and beans, the latter I did not really like as I prefer my beans warmed up. Food took about 20 minutes and although service was slow, staff were quite bubbly. Do take note that this cafe charges service charge, but not GST. Wouldn’t go back specially for either of the dishes but if I were to crave for an atas kolo mee, The Hangar would definitely be my choice.
