For a hot weather day , what more suitable than a cold soba π
Iβd usually refrain from eating at Japanese chain type of restaurants but this was an invite by a colleague .
I have Long heard about Japanese natto and itβs associated health benefits so this was the best chance to try π. Once in a while , Iβd step out of my comfort zone .
This cold soba came with balanced ladies fingers , poached egg , natto and canned seasoned enoki mushrooms . A unique combination - however , after a while everything got too slimy and a little overbearing .
Perhaps an element of roasted peanuts or something with a crunch would have added a bit of a bite to the dish .
Healthy nonetheless .
