The environment is spot-on Shanghai in Dragon-I — waitresses making rounds in their clicking heels and the aunty uncle at the table next to yours having loud conversations in Mandarin. Still the kind of comforting place to go for a reliable Chinese lunch. The Steamed Rice with Chicken Mushrooms and Chinese Sausages (RM22) was a little lacklustre for its price. Definitely stick with noodles. A delicious La Mian with Beef Brisket (RM22) is the real deal, and sees flavourful, tender beef brisket with their specialty la mian in thick, concentrated broth.
