Strolled over to Golden Mile Complex in search of a late dinner after attending The Puttnam's School of Film graduation show. Decided to try this Thai eatery as it was quite empty (we were starving, so didn't want to wait). Of the dishes we ordered, the Preserved Egg with Basil ($12) was the most interesting with the ammonia smell of the black eggs neutralised by the herb. I'd say the Steamed Squid with Garlic, Lime and Chilli Sauce ($20) and the Kangkong with Crispy Roast Pork ($10) were decent. The former featured springy curls of squid in a sourish, spicy soup which was nice to sip, but the roast pork in the latter was too tough. As for the Minced Pork with Glass Noodles Soup ($15), it was a touch too sweet for me but at least everything in it tasted fresh.
