Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King was my go-to ramen place a long time ago when there were much fewer ramen restaurants around, and it has been a while since I have been back. The Black Tonkotsu Ramen special is meant to be tonkotsu broth with black garlic flavour, and the more decadent option with flavoured egg, seaweed, and more chashu. I however thought that the tonkotsu broth was not as rich as I remembered it to be, and the garlic β€” both in aroma and taste was underwhelming. Disappointing especially since I got the black tonkotsu for the garlic punch. The egg was also sorely lacking in flavour, and the chashu was on the drier side.
