First & Foremost - Happy New Year Everyone!!

After hearing/reading some raving reviews for this chicken rice stall, decided to try it out today since its half day work :)

Stall outlook - decent to stale looking. Chicken wasn't hanged up like any other stall instead, chopped up in pieces and placed in container, supposedly filled with ice water. People that tend to look at food before deciding to try out most likely will skipped, if not for the long queue. 1/10

Food:
Chicken - Just average to my opinion and its cold, yes cold. Probably trying to imitate Boon Tong Kee, good try but apparently taste wise isn't as good as those reviews out there. Maybe its end of year standard drop haha. Anyway, chicken was way too cold, fats is frozen up(healthy user skip this part), did not compliment the chicken taste at all. My take 4/10. My partner who is very hungry gave an even lower score though.

Rice - slight chicken taste, but just very slight. Doesn't have much aroma to taste either. 4/10

Chilli - strong powerful chilli with slight sourish. Good to dip a little over chicken but if whole piece is dipped in, it overpowered both rice and chicken. Still good nonetheless, but not with this dish. 6/10

Soup - plain at sight. Taste is sour, presumed to have tomato added in for condiments. 6/10

Plus point - food wasn't that oily, healthy foodie can give a try for a filling stomach.

Overall - not that magnificient as the reviews claimed. Not worth the 20mins queue. 3/10

Price - Ate at scene. Bought 2 plates of chicken rice for 2 person @ $7. For hawker fare, affordable price, for great chicken rice session, not even close.

P/s: Have tried better chicken rice elsewhere like Gombak(will give a review the next time I'm there) that cost me cheaper, tastier memories and plenty of free 豆芽 if consumed on-site.
