The owner of Kara Cafe wanted to have a breakfast menu after having lots more Sunday breakfasts with her family during the circuit breaker, so they now have a new brunch menu! Their dishes have a slight spin on the regular brunch fare - in this case, a Korean shakshuka (baked eggs). The poached eggs are nestled in a slightly spicy chicken stew with bits of chicken, onions, and even chewy tteokbokki (rice cakes), which I thought was a nice touch. It’s served with a crisp sourdough on the side. A really hearty meal!
Thanks Kara Cafe for hosting us for this Burpple eatup!
